Wells Tourist Information Centre is located in the Market Place in the heart of the historic city of Wells.

Established in 1975 as a grant aided, self -funding Ltd Company, the Tourist Information Centre today is run by 1 full time and 4 part time members of staff, and 16 Volunteers, there is also a Voluntary Chairman and Board of Directors.

We offer a wide range of services to both visitors and local residents alike, and a warm welcome will always be assured.

The Wells Tourist Information Centre is open 7 days a week during the following hours.
April to Oct:
Mon - Sat 10am - 5pm, Sun & Bank Holidays 10am - 4pm
Nov to Mar:
Mon - Sat 11am - 4pm, Closed Sundays & Bank Holidays

Members of staff at the TIC will be pleased to help you with a wide range of services and enquiries, including:

-National and Local Accommodation booking service for Inspected properties up to 48 hours in advance on arrival at TIC, (whether it is a, hotel, guest house or holiday cottages)
-Advice and guidance on what to see and do in the area
-Details of opening times and charges for local attractions
-Details on a variety of clubs and activities available in the local area
-Discounted tickets and vouchers for local events and attractions
-We sell concert tickets for Wells Cathedral
-We sell tickets for Coach trips with Avalon and Aston Coaches
-We book Coach Holidays with Clapton Holidays
-Souvenirs, maps and local interest books on sale
-Local “Access” information for attractions
-We sell RADAR Keys
-Public transport details, including train and bus timetables
-A4 Photocopying and fax service
